Dojang (“the service”) turns the life you want into a blueprint and helps you practice it daily. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.
1. What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we store your display name, email, and profile photo URL as provided by Google. We do not request or store your password.
- Account: display name, email, profile photo URL, handle.
- Practice data: your blueprints, habits, daily check records, and any optional notes you write on a check.
- Usage: settings (locale, reminder time), muk balance and ledger.
2. Source text you paste for blueprint generation
If you generate a blueprint from pasted source text (a book excerpt, talk notes, transcript), that text is sent to our AI pipeline for extraction only. The original text is discarded immediately after processing and is never stored or logged— only the extracted principles and habit candidates are saved to your blueprint.
3. Who can see your data
Your daily check records and personal notes are private to you and are never shown to other users. Only you (and, transiently, our AI pipeline when generating a review) can read them.
If you choose to publish a blueprint to the plaza, only the blueprint's principles and habit list are made public. Your identity statement, vision, personal notes, and practice history are never included in a published blueprint.
4. How AI is used
Your practice history feeds a per-user “wiki” summary that our AI reads to generate your weekly review and to compress that summary over time. This processing happens through our backend (Cloud Functions) — the AI provider never has direct access to your raw Firestore data.
5. Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the address below.
